What's the skinny on Olympic pilothouse boats?

Twice now on the ferry to Naniamo I've seen these boats but can't seem to find any info on them. Is it the same mfgr that makes the runabouts in Europe? I found an old beat-up one in New York, sans lower unit, but no info. I really like the 24' pilothouse model. Looks like the perfect fishing platform. Are outboards an option? Would someone help point me in the right direction? Thanks!
 
Bought by C-Dory mid-late 90s IIRC. You'll see them reasonably often on Craigslist in WA, but they get snapped up quickly.
