What to do with old wire???

So I found a great deal on 130# Tuff XP, so I am going to replace my one year old downrigger wire. I have two spools of spare wire on the boat so I do not need two more.

What do you guys do with your old wire? Do you try and spool it up or just bag it and toss it? This wire is in good shape. If I can spool it up, I will give it to someone who wants it, just pay the shipping. I will also need to find a couple of empty spools.

Happy New Year!!!!!

SS There must be someone that could re-use them.
The landfill is the wrong place for it. I hope you meant recycle.
Better to come back as a recycled metal product after it’s useful life on a downrigger.
Coil it up and put tape on it for storage.
