What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

Not really on the boat but for the boat.

Built a new charge box, did a trial box last summer out of plywood and liked the results so went all in with a new build. Used 1/2” HDPE sheeting. All stainless scews, two UV lights ran off USB connection.

That looks good. You're going to get a lot of attention down deep. What did you use to cut the plastic?

Yes used one last summer and although I can’t say for sure it made a difference it sure seemed that any fresh charged lure got more attention than one that was washing for a while. Doesn’t hurt thats for sure.

I just cut it on the table saw with a standard use blade, its very easy stuff to work with. I have been using it for a few years now and have done a few projects with HDPE board. Always have a couple pieces sitting around of different thicknesses. Only note I will make is ensure any screw holes are pre drilled otherwise they are not a neat hole, the screws tend to melt in more than auger in.

Impeller change for the main and the kicker. Been a couple seasons since it was done. All good now.

Great, thanks for the tips. I need to machine a plastic piece for one of rails under a seat. Wasn't sure if I should use a router.

Excellent ! Those should save your back while you take the waves. I could use a pair of those myself. Are they air shock style? I don't know boat seats but I will be replacing mine this year.
No air... just springs. I've had them in previous boats and they work well... lots of adjustment built in. Cheers
