What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

Peeled the tarp off the boat. Started to brainstorm a way to improve the sleeping situation on my boat. Can’t afford a commander 30 and like mine and the flexibility it offers. Instead of dropping the dinette into a short bed I’m going to rig it up as a sleeper on top. This will accommodate myself and the wife and kids can have the cuddy and coffin berth below.

I wonder if you could put some rails on the roof and mount a rooftop tent when you were planning on camping with the family. They are designed to survive driving down the highway or logging roads and they fold flat when not in use. Bit of a weird idea but maybe it’ll work.

Picked the boat up from Breakers. Engine and leg oils done. Impellers and filters. Added port side wiper, a must.
Started on the cut and polish today. 9 hr shift, about 25 percent complete. Feel like I was run over by FA at his front door. Crippled, back at it tomorrow.

Well it was St Patrick's Day and we had the boat hauled out for a bottom clean. 8:00 am appointment . We were at the lift at 7:45.
