Water stained windows

Ju st wondering if anyone has any ideas on cleaning water stained windows. I've tried windex then a cleaning supply guy said to use toilet bowl cleaner. He has been using it for 20yrs on his boats. The window company said use rubbing alcohol. None of the above worked??? Was going to try CLR when I'm home next.

I have used Rain-x window treatment. It polishes stains out and helps the water to roll off in beads. It comes in a little yellow bottle from Canadian tire/lordco/wal mart.Hope it works for you

I have the same problem. Minerals remain from the salt water. Cant get it off and have tried vinegar.

My glass shop recommended a cleaner and it worked on my old shower door, it was a thick past I'll try and find it and get back to you.

Have you tried Gel-Gloss your wife may have it in her cleaning supplies. Works awesome on glass shower door enclosures. Also works really well cleaning up around the boat including motor exhaust stains.
