Wanted mooching rod // bottom sections

Hi folks got any old broken busted mooching rods laying around
as i have a couple of projects where i could use the handle section

making up a few lamiglass one piece 10'-6"

as i have just got a few old 9' blanks 1 piece from bob's fishin barn
and will fab the handle section into the butt of the blank

really only after mooching style with the lower reel seat
but will even take a sliding reel seat as well

section does not even need guides as only after the handle section
and a few inches up to make a spigot

cork should be in reasonable condition but does not need to be perfect
let me know what you got

regards and i'll put some life back into that old rod....lol

I have 4 rods in the garage that you can have.
2 of them are diawa with foam handles, one is a custom graphite with a cork handle and sliding rings, and the fourth is a fiberglass with a cork handle, however the fiberglass has multi-cracks and the reel seat is poor.
How are you going to fill in the gap between the two rod sections? Are you hoping to get some that match closely so there is not to much space for the glue to fill up?
I am in north Vancouver.
with all your projects, are you going to make the Bowen fishery?

so i do like the one piece rod as my bro's rod has so much sentimental value and i can't find another so will
like to build a few just like his
as to the joining the handle to the blank yep its going to be a bit of a gamble but i am sure i'll get a few to almost marry up ok
