Hey guys just wondering when is the best time to go winter steelheading in the capilano river? If not in the seymour? If you could give me some spots that would be great.

go make friends with dave steel at highwater tackle, im 26 now and i started going in there when i was 12. he will sit down with u and draw u a map of the good spots if u approach him when he is relaxed and has time... he is a great guy and eventhough i live in nanaimo now i still try to keep all my buisness through him. good luck dude

Make sure you purchase a few things while you're at it! It is fly fishing only and not sure how many winters return to that system. It is a real challenge to get a winter to hit a fly.
