An interesting observation as pointed out on CBC tonight:

In the west the top two teams go through to the semis ... a stark contrast to the east where the bottom three (ranked 6,7 and 8 in their conference) remain fighting for two spots.

Look at those Canadians! Now that is a team that plays with heart and soul! They can score whenever it's needed and they can defend like a wall and they even have a goalie that can make the impossible saves. I think this is the right mixture for a cup winner!
