Stamp River

Fished the stamp today. first thought I would go to stamp pool and noticed there was already 4 vehicles there so didnt bother even walking down once theres more then 3 trucks there i dont bother like to give the guys choices of where to fish and not crowd in. So drove back and fished the store pool there was 2 trucks there already.but didnt see anybody close to me only saw one other guy quite aways up from where i was fishing fished off the two big rocks. with pretty good success 2 fish on and landed one around 8-10lbs both takin on worms.

i fished the stamp today too...first time ever, im crom campbell river, just drove up for the day...started the morning at the gun club and the bucket, hooked 2 on spin-n-glos, lost one, released an 8 pound wild hen.went up to the falls later, walked around, found the trail to the falls pool, there were 6 guys there, and a few fish being cought...i lucked out and manged to land 3 , 1 on worm, 2 on jenny eggs with a lil white wool ...1 was hatchery, but i let it go, all of them were around 8-10 pounds, but i released one that was pushin 15, wild buck.....this is my first time on the stamp, but defiently not my last, it was awesome, ton of fun, and i talked to some really great guys on the river that helped a lost kid out.
thanks again, and i envy those that live there(but hey at least i got the gold river<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>)
