Im looking into getting a stainless prop for my boat im just looking for susgestions of good brands and of course where the bargans are.

Was considering getting one at Mercury Marine since I got a Merc outboard. Ummm.... bout $800 plus $60/hr for water test[B)]
If you know what you want I'd give Ebay a try. Similar prop i can get for $250 usd

I tend to shop local but if there is enough differnce I shop ebay. I bought a new in box merc rev 4 on ebay, delivered to my door for 525 canadian compared to 900 at local merc shop.

Only problem is you cannot return them or test them so choose carefully.

Vic prop is cheeap like borscht. Solas makes a lot of good props, they wholesale for around 200 bux, and reatail for 8. I would NOT buy one locally unless you have an in somehwere.
