Howdy all,

Been away for a while up country with the family(a 16 yr old boy and 14 yr old girl in a trailer for 10 days is way too much fighting[}:)])..I need to get out on th echuck and do some fishing alone,or with a non-teenager[8D]..
I have what will be a simple question...Spooling Power Pro on the Scotty electrics, what knot or method do you all use to attach the new braided line to the downrigger spool??
The old method that I have used for the stainless cable obviously won't work with the braided line. I was thinking palomar knots are a must, but what do you use to tie onto the spool??
I only want to do this once...
Your expert ideas and advice is appreciated as always.

Thanks,
Steve

I just thread the line into the two small holes on the top of the spool. To make sure it wont pull out I just tie several overhand knots on the end. Very simple

Yea that sounds fine but always make sure to leave at least 5-10 wraps on the rigger don't try to get down to the very end of the line, knots or no knots!
