Sonora Resort in July

With the way the english pound is these days compared to the CDN dollar...it probably won't be that expensive for you anyway. Sonora is a nice resort, fishing is meh at best, but the resort itself is 5 star.

not sure what it has been previously - seems expensive to me - perhaps I'm just tight!!

the fishing is secondary to staying in a sharp resort with other good activities around and access to the wilderness

I would do the bear thing, but since you're going to take a trip around the island, save your fishing for the West Coast!

Thats risky-- if you get "weathered" on the west coast you dont fish. Do both-- chances are you will only be over here once and I am sure you would not want to miss the BC fishing experience
