Ever notice how they forecast high activity around the full moon ?
I'm not convinced it's correct.

I use it... Follow it... And compare my days to it every so often. If the weather sucks and it looks dead like it shows today I'd stay home. If the weather was good and so did the solunar tables I'd be more willing to get off my butt.

If I can fish with a moonrise/moonset in close alignment to a slack tide I try harder to get out as I have experienced some great activity during those periods. Have my hopes up for this weekend cause of this very reason but forecast looks downright nasty.

Full moon means bigger tides so the potential for more concentrated bait in known structure/holding area. As well with the heavy overcast skies, the additional light to facilitate feeding through the night would be less influential . I'm hoping anyway. If I make it out I'll post results.
