slow day fishing

Today was the slowest day all i've seen for a long time
Fished Clover point,Constance Bank, and Oak Bay flats
with the usual assortment of spoons, hootchies and squirts
and not even a strike.
the upside was the beautiful day we had.
anybody else have a story to tell ?

I'd say this had to be the worst winter fishery in many years.
November till mid december was HOT and then it's been spotty every since.
Ohwell, I'll get the derby over with next week and then on to the gazillion home projects I have to get done before the big fish roll in thick in June.

Seems to depend on where you were.

I got two good springs in Vancouver Harbour this morning in 3 hours. Fishery has been good to me since February.

Gorgeous day to be out.
