I have a weeping seal on my F200 Trim Cylinder .Hoping a member might have the wrench that removes the cap screw and will rent it to me for $$$ or beer . The ideal wrench for that is available out of the US but it’s $350usd , the seal kit is $20……Im in Victoria.

I'm just spitballing here, but a shop that works on road bike/dit bike/mtn bike/snow machine suspension would probably have that wrench and *might* let you use it - if you brought the boat to their shop and left beer behind. Same technique could be applied at the Yamma dealer in your area of course. Just approach the shop Mgr or one of the techs. You can buy a lot of beer for the price of that wrench...

I bought this tool online a few years ago for my Yamaha 200. I’m on the mainland though. My daughter is in Oak Bay and visiting next weekend. If you’re still working on it then I can send it back with her.

I actually used a pipe wrench to “crack” it loose. Then used the tool to spin it off and back on.

Hi ,
Thank you very much for the offer, appreciate that.I managed to source a loaner and with the addition of some heat got the cylinder screw off. Next step seals etc and get it back together, thanks for the advice.
