shore fishing Port Renfrew

While camping at port renfrew last summer i as told you can cast from shore to catch springs, has anyone done this befor? And what type of lures-jigs are being used?

And i was refering to the bridge at PR!

That is probably in late August or early September. That would be the staging San Juan River fish. I personally would not target these fish as most would be starting to color up. As well the stocks in that system should be left alone as much as possible because they are quite low.

You can fish there late august early sept. There are usually lots of springs jumping everywhere. But they don't normally bite; they're focused on getting up the river.
