Shelf Life Of Oil......

If you buy a one litre jug of engine oil and store it......is there a shelf life on this stuff?

have some that 's probably 3 years or more old.......one is unopened and the other is about half full......

Unopened in factory sealed container stored indoors = 60 months
Unopened in factory sealed container stored subjected to freezing = 24 months
Once opened and air introduced = 12 months.

What type of oil are we taking about? If it's TCW3 for a 2-stroke then it last for years and years. Just shake it well before using. It does not deteriorate. The only risk is contamination if the container was opened.

Thanks.....guys....no T/S, this is 4 stroke oil..........
