Registering a new boat trailer...

Bought a new boat with a trailer and I was checking out registries web site to see what paper work I would require to register the NEW trailer and it seems they require a vehicle information statement (NVIS)

Who has registered a new boat trailer as of lately???

I have did you buy it in Canada? To license a new boat you must print th form off the pleasure craft site and send them away. Make sure to send a copy of the bill of sale showing you paid taxs or you will get a bill in the mail for the taxes.

Just imported a trailer its simple im assuming thats what you did?
Bring in your form showing you paid gst on it and bring title that says you own it.
Bring your trailer to insurance place.
They will confirm vin or ser # have the riv check complete before.
They will charge you pst and the cost to insure it over the year

If your buying it local all you need would be transfer paper pay tax and insure

Yes, you need to fill only a form for it that will include your vehicle number, ID and your information. It is very general thing to do when we purchase any vehicle. You should purchase a best boat trailer that should be light weight as it is easy to bring it in your every trip. It is better to purchase trailer made up of aluminum metal.
