Hey all, is prospect lake worth having a look at this time of year?

Yes. It can be excellent. You'd need a boat though because most of the shore is private. Caught a 4 lb trout there a few February's ago hanging a single salmon egg just off the bottom. Noticed some bass moving in the shallows of my local pond this evening.

If the bass are starting to move then they might soon start to bite! That's something to look forward to! And unfortunatly i don't have a boat, looks like i'll have to stick to my public lakes

it's about the very best time of year. push off from the boat launch and troll right along the buoys with leeches and you'll catch fish until you get bored.

Purple and green are also good colours...worm-drowners can get by with a wedding band.
