How's the salmon and halibut fishing in the waters off port Renfrew in mid July? I am trying to book a cabin and wanted a little input from some members.

From my experience, Renfrew generally comes on around July 1 and goes thru to the end of August and sometimes a little later.
Swiftsure comes on a little earlier and ends a little earlier.
Pretty much can't miss on Springs and Halibut off Swifsure. Coho can be a real problem is you are using bait!
Renfrew is getting really busy...much to the frustration of us old timers, but the same can be said of most fishing areas.
