Port Hardy - need help

We plan on making a day trip to Port Hardy, we are fishing out of port McNeil but want to try a day around Hardy. We have a pretty good boat so we can travel a bit, just wondering where to spend our time at, we will launch from Hardy.

Always heard that Hardy produces good fish, just don't know where to start.

It was pretty slow this weekend, the wind didn't help much either. I knew a few people fishing around me, not much going on. Coho were willing but springs were quiet.

Anymore updates? Heading up Monday morning, striking out at Malcolm this year, need to find some springs before its to late. Been 3 full days and nothing over 10lbs so far, pretty sad trip, never seen such small fish this time of year.

Gonna be windy as hell this week. 20-30 knots. Fun fun. Will slow fishing down nicely
