Port Hardy Launch and Parking

Where do people typically park and launch in Port Hardy? Headed there for a few days next week and want to leave the truck and trailer parked somehwere secure for about five days. Thanks

There are some private launches with parking —- Bear Cove, Scotia Bay etc, but the Port Hardy government wharf is probably the most convenient. I’ve left truck and trailer for up to two weeks and never had any issues there.....the ramp is a bit tight on a low tide but I’ve seen worse

If you'd consider Port McNeill, there is a municipal parking lot at the head of the ramp, and a secure compound at Shoprite - go to the service desk at the back of the store.
