Okanagan Lake Rainbows

Is there anyone on SFBC that fishes Okanagan Lake at this time of year? I'm in Osoyoos and have a boat and I would love to try it out. I do a fair amount of fshing in the chuck and Ive heard it is similar(downriggers, flasher, spoon/hootchie). Any tips on spots, gear, depth, etc would be greatly appreciated.Sean

Yeah, better in the fresh water forum, but I will throw in my 2 cents. Very similar setup. Flasher not always needed. Big bright spoons and Rapalas work excellent on the downrigger. Always set out a third line pulling a Bucktail on or near the surface way behind the boat -- tends to produce as many as the rigger -- particularly early in the morning and late in the day as the sun sets and the bait/plankton rise to the top.
