Beaver or Dee Lake Okanagan

My grandson is coming to Kelowna for a visit and wants to go fishing. I suppose we could dip a line in the Okanagan, but I think it takes a big boat and downriggers etc. I don't have a boat and have little knowledge of the local fishery. I've heard that Beaver and Dee lakes can be good and that you can rent boats there. Can you recommend these lakes or any others in the area. Fishing from the shore would be good too! Thanks! Matt

just a little further from beaver and dee is Doreen lake. Easier access, little bit bigger fish and a lot more action. try it out.
