Nitinat Chinook fry ( 104,000 ) we're released into ESQUIMALT HARBOUR , yesterday raised at GOLDSTREAM HATCHERY , biggest amount we have released in 20 odd yrs after finding out last summer returns to the Victoria waterfront , sent a dozen heads for DNA sampling that one of the heads was a NITINAT stock so this summer we will try get a hundred heads to send up which will tell us exactly how many They are of that stock , also waiting to get ok from DFO FOR THE OK to put 2 net pens at Ogden pt which the water quality Tests we have been doing for 6 weeks now , and water tests are very good .
