New to Area.

Hello, I've just moved to the Vernon area (Okanagen Valley) and am at a loss for good fishing spots. We don't yet have a boat so Im looking more for river, tube or shore fishing. Any ideas? Muchly appreciated.

For river fishing try the Kettle river system. Off Hwy33 the West Kettle is the closest. This time of year try the evening dry fly action. Small elk hair caddis or a tom thumb will work. Rainbows and brookies I think the Shuswap River is open for spring salmon around now. White fish etc. Out Enderby way
