We understand that some people will hesitate to sign this petition because they do no believe it will ultimately make a difference. We acknowledge this viewpoint, but we urge you to sign regardless. These petitions are useful tools for the firearms community in other ways, even if they do not cause legislation to be repealed.

And now a rant....F*ck this government. Using firearms as a wedge issue. Trying to convince the sheep that firearms are a problem in Canada.
In 2020, there were 6,214 deaths from opioid overdose in Canada, meanwhile firearms killed 277. The majority of those deaths are stolen guns killing gang bangers. Yet our government continues to punish law abiding gun owners.

All the while reducing sentences for criminals involved in serious gun crimes. Going after the hunter and farmer cause we are the problem not the criminals.

Only in the eyes of the left does this make any sense.

For the most part this legislation is a joke anyways and just virtue signalling. In any personal gun sale or trading how are they to know who owned what gun and when if none of our guns are registered anyways. Any previous registration is null and void because our guns have been sold and traded so often and there’s no record of it. It will be a personal choice, I’m sure there will be plants out there so be careful but really it’s a joke. Any of the big chain gun dealers have been illegally taking this info all along as well at the request of our corrupt RCMP. Any CT, Bass Pro or Cabellas have been illegally taking this info down. I got into many an argument over the years with them over this issue.
