Nanaimo - Seattle flights?

Cant find the link now, but a big announcement coming January 14th about flights from Nanaimo YCD to SEATAC!!!

likely to be on Horizon/Alaska is my suspicion - although the carrier is yet to be named...

Most likely it will Kenmore Air in a wheeled Caravan. Helijet tried Beach 1900 service from Campbell River 1/2 dozen or so years ago. It did not go well as they had to use Boeing Field and the cost of the ticket nullified any savings for anyone wanting to connect out of Seatac. Most of the traffic was from down south heading to their places around Stuart Island. Not too many people heading the other way except those returning to Seattle.
