Just cleared the border at Tecate-on the long trek home-no bandito's-no hassles-11/2 hour wait at the border(not the Mexicans fault). Man I love that Duramax. Got great deals at Harbour Freight-my new go- to tool store! Check it out on-line. Hasta Pronto!!

All I wanted to point out is that Mexico has some pretty strict gun laws that have not prevented the"Banditos" from aquiring the needed guns to perform their nefarious deeds.
Yes the USA manufactures a lot of these guns and their gun safety and storage laws are severly lacking, I was just highlighting the success of the Mexican gun laws.

This maps gives some perspective. Been to Mexico a number of times and would go again but I would be more careful than in years back. There are a lot of other countries with the same classification.
