Heard today port hardy fire displaced bear cubs that came to town with intelegent momma were set to be destroyed,momma did not leave town with her cubs .
Things have changed, when I was a teenager bears were in the same class a rats to be shot on sight, never had problem bears because there was no closed season and no bag limit and a person could just shoot them and leave them where they fell.
