man vs. outboard motor company

Would appreciate any info. or sites re: battling outboard motor company for manufacture defect that showed up shortly after warranty period expired. Case in point, engine block is porous and completely showered outside of motor with salt and filled inside with saltwater completely destroying engine. Purchased 225 hp. in May 2005. My position is this had to be ongoing for some time, confirmed by discussions with o.b. mechs. and would be happening while still under warranty.

Salt deposit originated under flywheel and was not noticed by me or mech. even while in for regular servicing. Only showed up when it expanded from under flywheel and was noticed by me during regular inspection. As a guide I must maintain my equip. and do so diligently.
