Local Lake action??

Any one been out in this warmer than usual weather we have been experiencing? Seeing if its worth dragging the boat out

Was out at Kemp taking the kids for a spin and the fishing was decent.... for the winter

I've been a few times lately on Vic lakes. Lots of chironomids hatching and some big fish cruising the surface picking them off just as they hatch.

Give her a go, it's worth the effort.

Fuller's Lake was good to me Sunday afternoon. Two nice trout kept.

No, it was from my little tin boat. It was such a nice day we went for a row for a couple hours. I only got four hits on my leech fly, but two stuck, and were decent fish.

Hootey. Got 3 on Quamichan Monday aft. Going this Monday, early. and Fishing my way back upriver to the Lake.

Retired. Fish most days. For anything. Mostly Cowichan River lately.
