Thanks to @BCI for the hand launching today.
I did a motor upgrade over the holidays with a 2022 Mercury 115 lease return from Bridgeview Marine on my Bridgeview 18CC. They installed it for me and tested it but the 17” four blade Spitfire prop from the 90 was too big as the max revs were low. (different leg ratios) So, I did my calculations and got a 15” four blade Turning Point. Did not get to try it out until this morning.
5920 rpm on a 6000 redline. I’m sure the other 800 are hidden in the trim button but it was chilly out there. Pops out of the hole, flies along nicely. No speed comparison yet as I didn’t have my Garmin with me. Perfect so far.
