Kicker power tilt

I want to check and top up the fluid in my kicker trim.
I believe the slotted screw in photo is the fill screw? What is the hex screw above?

looks like a manual bleed, if you have motor or pump failure to position engine to make repair,

With The tilt up that flat screw is your level/bleed to bleed you remove screw and add oil and tilt the motor up cycling it to bleed

Thanks. I found videos similar but can’t find anything on a newer Yamaha and still wondering what the hex bolt is. Manual shows nothing either. I guess I will just top up from the slotted screw.
