A lawsuit against BC Hydro and the provincial government filed by the Katzie First Nation claims the Alouette Lake Dam has destroyed sockeye salmon runs, violating the First Nation’s rights.

Nothing like catching a record number of sockeye, selling as much as possible, throwing out the rest in your garbage cans and making the city clean them up, and then suing the province for lack of the same fish LOL. I talked to guys down there that said they've never seen so many fish.
