Is Julia Passage accessible from all three points, and do tides heights have to be taken into consideration when entering or exiting?

from the northeast end, that depends on tide and your size of boat, a low tide on that end has maybe 3ft of water and is only about 12ft wide as the channel narrows when the tide goes out.

the southwest end is accessible at all times, the safe route is along the northwest shoreline of this entrance, IIRC theres about 12' of water along that route at low tide. Personally, I come in hugging the southeast shoreline and snake through the rocks (been going that way since I was a kid in the tin boat) but it is a bit of a rock garden and your GPS charts won't help you in there.

as for the middle, it's definitely high and dry at low tide.

Cheers,

Yup, and be damn careful. Lots of prop's have been damaged by "missing it by that much"...as Maxwell Smart would say.

Seen a few guys who have cabins and lots of experience going in/out have troubles at times, it only takes a moment of distraction while opening a beer to screw up.
