Looking to see what's out there. Ideally a 225 but will look at 250's. Prefer Yami or Suzuki. Will also consider Honda. Need a 25" shaft

Did you check Parker marine? They have a set of Honda 225 with low hours. Maybe they will spit them up and you can keep your rigging.

We tried. We were doing the back and forth game and when I finally called to pull the trigger they had been sold. Damn. It would have worked well for us.

This is an 08 F250 at Port Boat House w/ 2000 hours for $4500. Only downside is it's fly by wire so the rigging would not be cheap.

Rods Power has a 2013 Verado 250 for $10k but again, the rigging won't be cheap.

Brian..... still have my 2008 Yamaha f250 with about 800 hours.
Had 2 of these on my 28 Parker, very light boat for 500 hp.
Easy on the engines is my point, and mostly trolling hours.
Motor is super clean, have lots of pics and motor is on the Island.
I know you needs 25” leg and mine is a 30”, but depending on your
boat you may be able to raise the transom.... I like 30” length
because it raises your power head 5” higher out of the salt water.
I cruised at 32 mph at 35-3700 rpm. A buddy has a 310 Pursuit with
the same engines and needs 5300 rpm to get 25-28 mph....
I've always believed in having lots of hp and reducing rpm, then
motors are just playing! I'm going to twin 300 Suzuki’s in the spring.
Good luck with your search,
Wayne

Wayne,
Do you have a recent print out of the motor? What do you want for the good motor? We would prefer a 25" but we could have our pod modified to take a 30" leg.

Thanks,
Brian
