If you had 1week to Steelhead VI - where/when

If you only had one week to steelhead VI this winter where would go? and what month?

Friends and I are interested in exploring some Vancouver Is Steelheading this winter but are pretty clueless as to where and when. Have drift boat and will travel. All are accomplished winter steelheaders - primarily side drifters.

Your choices are really quite limited.

The Gold used to be a fabulous place to fish but numbers are way down and IMO is no longer worth the effort.

That leaves you with the Stamp/Somass system Jan or Feb.

I agree w Dog& Nog...Stamp/Somass is your best for a Jan/feb date.
You'll know in a few days whether to move on to somewhere else...[8D]
