Usually a last reply with a SOLD sign should do. Leaving the post on the site can help other members price what they have for sale. I don't think it's a good idea to delete the post myself, but that is only my 2 cents

One of the peculiarities of the Snitz Forum software that the forum runs on is that the poster of the original (first) message cannot edit or delete that first posting.
Subsequent postings can be edited or deleted.
The moderators would have to tend to that bit of housekeeping, a chore I don't think they want to be involved in.
Be nice if we could tidy up our own.

I don't know about that, I have put a few items on here and have always gone back and been able to delete them once they were done.
