How to get rid of a dead whale

Fascinating. However, I suspect in the modern world the only way to get rid of a stinky dead whale is to vote them out and that can sometimes be almost as messy.
 
If the whale is in the lower mainland region just issue a press release stating that whale meat tastes like chicken and the whole thing will vanish over night.
