Finally remembered to take a picture of my hoochie storage. Pool noodle, plastic pipe for rigidity, wood screws. I use a loop for the leader, around the screw and wrap.

Haven't found that to be the case - there are some that I haven't used all year and they come off without issue. I keep them in the shade/indoors as much as possible, which may help?
Take the lure start coiling it and then pass the swivel through 4 or 5 times. Store in a box with cardboard or paper cutouts to separate them. Can neatly stack one on another in a pinch.
Most of mine are done the way prodasjig suggests then they go in the clear plastic trays. I can usually get 2-4 of the same spoon/hootch in the same compartment.
teaser heads go on foam boards because the trebles cause tangles in trays
ap tackle spoons go on the foam boards because I still don’t have the stones to soak them
commonly used lure/flasher combos go in the flasher bags
