Hand painted teaser heads

Just finished rigging a bunch of teaser heads that I had my 6y/o daughter paint up in various patters as a summer project. Gonna see if they'll catch her some fish.

Does anyone else paint their own teaser heads?

i put google eyes on mine, sometimes a bloody nose

glow eyes on most + shiny/clear scale tape gives some nice flash on others. never tried painting though.

Yep... the last three springs from our boat were caught with a chrome glitter and pink teaser head that my daughter painted.

Nice to see all the interest :)

She did the same bloody nose, gold glitter pattern on both. But one is a UV head and the other a green glow.

How long do they stand up for before you have to redo?

I'm not too sure yet for ours. I had her use an enamel paint, so I'm thinking it should be relatively durrable. I'll post an update when I see them deterriorate... and if they actually work to get fish.

Also curious as to how long others hold up.

You put them on both sides?

I run an eye on the flat side...but the curved outside of RD teasers makes it a bit tricky to go for both sides..

Does anyone have a pic to share of their teaser head done up with eyes? I'd like to set up some more for my daughter to work on this summer and give her some options. :)
