Halibut - IPHC and SFAB.

Posted this in the General Area in responce to Tailspin, thought a cross post here would be good.

By chance I received an e mail from Kim Zak (local SFAB) today with an attachment on Halibut. He received it "from Bob Gallaugher Local SFAC Port Renfrew chair. This is about Halibut from Marilyn Murphy Chair of the SFAB main board."

Title: "The unofficial handbook for those who want to know
everything about the IPHC and SFAB progress to date
Jan 20 2008"

The report runs to 170 pages and probably can't be summarized in one or two sentences, not by me anyway.

But I would be happy to forward it to you, or anyone else who would like a copy.

Ummm - could you possibly summarize the potential bottom line - eg. length of season, when it opens, how many fish, what size?
