Halibut anchoring set up help

I'm looking at getting set up for hali fishing. I'm planning on purchasing 600 ft. of double braid anchor line. What is the minimum size I should consider for a 21ft. boat weighing approx. 4000 lbs?

Hay Stosh.. I never saved that much money piecing this out.... I also am not the best at splicing etc... If you serious about if your on island go to Trotac (victoria area) or Harbour Chandler (nanaimo area) they will make a proper sytem for size of your boat... And give advice on how to use etc... Worth the money.

We have a used system (minus the anchor) that we were going to post for sale. It's a little light weight for our new boat but would likely suite yours. I'll double check the lengths etc over the weekend and will try for a photo.... If you are going to have a set up made, I aree with SV, have it made, it's no more expensive but you end up with a better quality job.
