GPS Chartplotter

Hello , new to boating of the west coast . Was wondering if anybody has had experience with the Standard Horizon line of electronics . I am looking for a combo unit for use off of the north coast . I am thinking that something with a 7 "or so screen would be the best & was looking at the $1500 price range . We will only be on the water for about a month each year , cruising the Queen Charlotte Islands , Prince Rupert & Kitimat areas .

Any advice will be appreciated , thanks .

I have the smaller 5" 190i and love it.Get the CMAP MAX charts for better detail of contours etc.As trophy wife stated,
their customer support is top notch.I'd buy another in an instant.
