Gluing rater then sewing vinyl

I flush mounted some electronics into my side console over the winter, however now I fear I will need to ensure that rainwater will not leak past the sealant I put on. I would like to build a cover for them out of waterproof vinyl. My sewing abilities are not up to par for doing the seams etc. but I was wondering if anyone has experience with using a vinyl glue to secure the seams etc. In particular I was wondering about HH-66. Has anyone have experience using this product?

I have worked with as a hobbie two products . Zap & Freesol . Zap came in a very small tube and was very strong heated up when applyed ,discolored white and became ridgid when absorbed and was ment for RC planes.Freesol is a boot repair product that I have fixed backpack internal frame cradle with.
