That 2000GT Shimano looks like it is the made in Japan model..

Should be stamped on the reel foot.

I fish an Islander and a made in Japan Shimano. The new Malaysian models with the waterproof drag systems simply do not compare IMHO.

Someone should snatch up that reel ASAP.
