Freezing Crab?

IMO canned crab is much better and lasts much longer than trying to store it frozen. Have tried every way you can think of and I don't think you can beat canned if you wanna keep it for awhile. Ours never lasts long though. Another way I've preserved it that is also better in my opinion than freezing is to store it in oil with seasonings, peppers, etc and in the fridge. That never lasts long around our house either but I will never freeze crab after doing it the other two ways.
