Fraser river sockeye

Very comforting to know that DFO is doing fairly well at their job...

However, the Fisheries Department said it already has an “fairly aggressive” enforcement program in place.

On a typical day, dozens of enforcement officers are patrolling and new investigations are launched daily, said Mike Fraser, area chief for the Lower Fraser conservation and protection units of the Fisheries Department.

“It’s a fairly intensive program,” he said.

Give me a break.....

Drove up to see the Adams today. There were sockeyes everywhere we looked from the bridge to the mouth. I didn't count them, but others were, so fingers crossed they got enough.
Saw one guy catch a nice rainbow at the mouth. The gravel bars and channels at the lake have really changed since 4 years ago.
