My boat has a 80 horse power 2 stroke mercury outboard and a 2 stroke 9.9 hp kicker. I am going to replace the kicker with a 4 stroke honda.

I wonder whether I can directly connect the mixed fuel to my honda kicker.

Is this a bad idea? Looking forward to your opinion

Thank you in advance.

you'll need a seperate tank with unmixed fuel for your kicker.

if you have to premix your gas for your 2-stroke then it won't work, well it might but 4 strokes aren't supposed to run on mixed gas.

I ran mixed gas (left overs from boats big tank) in jeep caused my injector seals to dry out an expensive mistake. In an emergency it's ok but not for a prolonged period of time.....
